Sabah Covid cases breach 1,000 mark
Masidi
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government is confident that the Sabah Health Department is on the right track to manage the pandemic amid Covid-19 cases breaching the 1,000 mark Friday.

“Obviously we are concerned with the high numbers,  but we should see the entire issue in a different perspective,” said State Local and Housing Minister, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, in his Covid-19 briefing.

Masidi who is the State’s official Covid-19 spokesperson said one of the contributing factors is wider and more Covid-19 testing on the ground. “I have said earlier, some of the high numbers are contributed from specific places in an enclosed sort of ambiance for instance the prison and temporary detention centres.
