Reward for info on misconduct, law violation

THE Government will reward individuals or parties who provide information on any misconduct or violation of the law.

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, when tabling the 2021 Budget in the Dewan Rakyat, said it was part of the Government’s efforts in strengthening governance and integrity in the country.

“For example (information can be given on) the issue of river pollution, which is becoming increasingly rampant resulting in the disruption of water supply in the Klang Valley,” he said.

Apart from that, he said the Government would continue the national development agenda based on good governance and uphold the principle of integrity.
