Kota Kinabalu: The State Government welcomes the Federal Government’s RM5.1 billion budget channelled to Sabah, as it is a crucial catalyst in driving economic development and raising the people’s living standards. Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam (pic) said the budget, allocated for the construction and upgrading of the State’s infrastructure and facilities, would ultimately improve the Rakyat’s living standards, especially the rural population.
“Through this allocation, we hope that the development of basic facilities and infrastructure will be further improved and expedited,” he said in a statement, Saturday.
