TAWAU: A man believed to be suffering from mental illness and depression tried to jump from the third floor of a building at Kubota Sentral, here at 5.06pm on Friday.District Police Chief ACP Peter Umbuas said the 26-year-old was persuaded against it and sent to Tawau Hospital for treatment.
According to Peter, a team of MPV members rushed to the scene after receiving information from the public that a man was trying to jump from the building.
