Viet boats shooed away
MMEA officer on patrol duty ordered the Vietnam-registered fishing boat to exit the country’s waters.
Kota Kinabalu: Six Vietnam-registered fishing vessels were evicted from Sabah waters this year, said Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Sabah and Labuan Director, First Admiral Mohd Rosli Abdullah.

Rosli in a statement on Saturday said the first boat was evicted from waters off Sandakan in May followed by two boats in September in Kota Kinabalu and Kudat waters.
