PAPAR: Two houses were destroyed but no casualties were reported in a landslide at KM18, Jalan Kimanis–Keningau, here, following a downpour since 5am on Tuesday.
District Fire and Rescue chief Mohd Juhainin Ruslan told Daily Express that 10 personnel were dispatched to the scene after being alarmed about the mishap at about 7am.
A Public Works Department spokesperson confirmed the landslide's location and instructed a road maintenance concessionaire to carry out road-clearing works.
The aftermath of the incident was captured on videos that went viral on social media.
