Kota Kinabalu: A pressure group, Mahasiswa Roket, bemoaned the allocation of RM81 million for Special Affairs Department (Jasa) under the budget proposals announced on Friday, saying it is better distributed to students.It said in a statement it was disappointed that students had been excluded in the budget.
“The amount for Jasa should be given to students. If a calculation is made, RM81 million can benefit 50,000 students if RM1,500 assistance for the purchase of a laptop is given.
