Sabah backs putting Sukma Games on hold
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah welcomed the decision to postpone the Sukma and Para Sukma Games to 2022, which was announced by Federal Youth and Sports Minister Dato ‘Sri Reezal Merican Naina Merican.

State Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ellron Angin (pic) in a statement released on Tuesday praised the decision made by the organising committee and said the postponement will help to ease the Ministry’s concern over the spread of the Covid-19 virus, which is increasingly worrying in Sabah.

“On behalf of the Ministry, we commended the supreme committees and also the Johor state government as the organising committee on their decision, which has clearly shown their concern on the safety of athletes, officials, supporters and Malaysians as a whole.
