Kota Kinabalu: Four Sabahans who were cheated by an oil and gas company in Romania together with some 80 other Malaysians from Sarawak and peninsula thanked the Sabah Government, especially Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor and the Federal Government via the embassy in Romania, for immediate assistance in bringing them home.Tawau-lad Faizal Rajanie (right), 47, Jacklos Patrick, 26 from Kota Marudu (left), Azhar Idin (second left), 27, from Sandakan and Hairy Lousin from Pitas, 26, who posed at the departure hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Monday told Daily Express that the Sabah Government sponsored their 14-day quarantine requirement upon arriving at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) on Tuesday (Nov 10).
Faizal said the last two months were bad for them with no pay and being cheated as their dream of earning a living for their families and pursuing a better life turned into a nightmare.
