Kuala Lumpur: Member of Parliament for Kota Belud urged the Federal Government to confirm a front page report in Daily Express on Nov. 8 entitled, “Sabah also requesting RM500mil in dues owed to the State” and “PM ‘yes’ to RM1.25b sales tax”.Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis (pic), while debating the 2021 Budget motion in the Parliament hoped Deputy Speaker Datuk Seri Azalina Othman could get confirmation from the Prime Minister or the Minister of Finance, “because the matter is good news for Sabah, let alone during the Covid-19 pandemic”.
“Because as a Sabahan, this matter (news) is very good, let alone during this pandemic. Sabah must be developed and not only considered as a farm to provide revenue and political power for the good of the peninsula, but we (in Sabah) continue to be left behind in the current of development,” she said.
