Kota Kinabalu: Merotai Assemblyman Sarifuddin Hata (pic) continues to insist that all credit for the impending payment is owed to Warisan.He said Tulid Assemblywoman Flovia Ng’s claims to the contrary were insubstantial and proved she was unaware that the sales tax would first need to be approved in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting, which did not occur under the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah’s (GRS) Government as it only recently came into power.
He said Flovia should refer to the date that the Five Percent Sales Tax Bill (RUU) was passed, which was in April this year during the Warisan Government.
