Cleric claims to have papers on deal with State intel
JAKARTA: The Islam Defenders Front (FPI) leader, who just arrived from his proclaimed self-exile in Saudi Arabia, Rizieq Shihab (pic), made a surprising claim in a live broadcast uploaded in the organisation’s YouTube account ‘Front TV’ suggesting he possesses a document of a deal between himself and the state-intelligence agency (BIN).

The video uploaded on November 10 shows Rizieq Shihab stating that he had never revealed about the BIN document publicly except if an emergency situation arises that would have him reveal it.

However, he kept the document’s substances a secret.
He also said he had the document translated to Arabic to present it to the Saudi Arabian intelligence agency after the Saudi Arabian government, he claims, had been informed about the criminal charges surrounding him and that he is under BIN’s chase.

“I showed the document. The deal between myself and BIN. I translated it to Arabic, and that was official,” said Rizieq in the video. He also said the Saudi officials were informed about the investigation termination warrants or SP3.
