Kuala Lumpur: Api Api Assemblywoman Datuk Christina Liew had to skip the opening of the First Meeting of the First Term of the 16th Sabah State Legislative Assembly on Thursday as well as the sitting on Monday (Nov 16).

“I am unable to attend the opening and sitting of the State Legislative Assembly this time as I am in Kuala Lumpur now to attend the Third Session of the 14th Malaysian Parliament.

Liew, who is Member of Parliament for Tawau, said parliamentarians are gearing up for endorsement of the 2021 Budget “provided the genuine concerns raised by MPs are adequately addressed by the Federal Government in the interest of the people’s overall well-being.”
