SANDAKAN: Over 3,000 packets of meals were recently distributed to the needy here under the Elopura food distribution programme.The programme was initiated by Elopura Assemblyman Calvin Chong (pic), his special assistant Kenny Lee Kenn Yung and their team. Sandakan Indian Association members (SIA) led by its President Taren Sunil Manoharan and Honorary Secretary Jocelyn Lee were among the co-organisers who helped prepare the packed meals while D’Crixx café offered free use of its facilities for the preparation.
