TAWAU: A total of 6,998 registered premises throughout the district involving 4,881 in urban and 2,117 rural areas were inspected by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Tawau since January.Tawau District KPDNHEP Chief Enforcement Officer, Aslani Dabi said of the total, 5,108 inspections involved special inspections under the Movement Control Order (MCO).
“For the implementation of the Deepavali 2020 Seasonal Maximum Price Scheme (SHMMP), 47 wholesalers and retailers were inspected the past two days.
