Kota Kinabalu: Armed men robbed three fishermen of their equipment onboard their perahu bagang or fishing platform in Kunak waters early Sunday, said a top security official.

Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) chief Datuk Ahmad Fuad Othman said the three robbers took away a 15-horsepower outboard engine, two mobile phones, two fish freezers and two jerrycans from the fishermen in the 3am incident.
