LABUAN: Deepavali, which has been celebrated here over the years with gala dinner, music and dances, continued to be observed this year under a new norm due to the ongoing pandemic.Homemade North and South Indian delicacies were delivered to homes and offices to get into the festive spirit, with a total of 500 packages distributed.
The Hindu Society, led by Datuk Ramasamy Rengasamy and the Sikh Society led by Datuk Dahlif Singh jointly led the way to distribute the cookies and well wishes.
