Libaran Umno donated 2,000 food baskets to assist the needy in the Sandakan parliamentary constituency.

The contribution was jointly made by Nominated Assemblyman Suhaimi Nasir who is also Libaran Umno Chief, Local Government and Housing Assistant Minister Mohd Hamsan Awang Supain who is also Sungai Sibuga Assemblyman and Sungai Manila Assemblyman Mokran Ingkat.

Suhaimi said the distribution of the food baskets to the needy regardless of their backgrounds was held in stages.

He said among the recipient areas were Kampung Jaya Bakti, Kampung Ulu Dusun, Kampung Sungai Batang and Kampung Batu Putih.
