SEMPORNA: A speedboat with 36 empty jerrycans were seized by the marine police in collaboration with the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) in the waters off, here, Monday.The seizure was made when marine police initially tried to intercept the speedboat with two men onboard.
A chase ensued when the speedboat headed towards Pulau Bum-Bum. The two men onboard jumped into the sea before fleeing towards a landed area.
