Kota Kinabalu: Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia Limited gifted food boxes to some 260 thalassemia-afflicted families, 100 families of mountain guides in Kundasang and over 180 orphans from five orphanage centres over the weekend.

The Repsol Malaysia donation represented the company’s second batch of food aid to pockets of the communities whose livelihoods were most impacted as a result of the pandemic.

The first donation was carried out during the first wave in April this year during which some 250 food boxes were distributed to fishermen communities in Kuala Penyu, Putatan, Menggatal and Tuaran, an initiative in collaboration with Yayasan Nur Jauhar.
