A TOTAL of 110 pints of blood were collected during a two-day blood donation drive organised by Lion Establishment at D’Junction, in Kota Kinabalu, since Nov 12.

“We urge all our staff to donate and support the call by the State Government on blood donors to urgently help replenish the shortages in the blood banks,” said its Business Development Manager Mei Lo in a statement.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Transfusion Medicine Head, Dr Dinesh Parakash, said the donation exceeded their expectations and hoped to see more companies stepping out to donate blood for a good cause.
