LABUAN: The Labuan Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry says that that it may be suitable for residents in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya to sell from anywhere as long as legal but for Labuan, it is “not a good idea as such a move will further aggravate the woes Covid-19 hit urban shops.

Its Chairman Datuk Dahlif Singh said: KL has a huge population and the consumer market is large but is not the case for Labuan whose population is now said to be around 80,000, local shops are very much dependent on the local consumer spending to survive.
