MATUNGGONG: Matunggong Assemblyman, Datuk Julita Majungki is hoping the aspiration of 157 villages in the district who want their main road to be upgraded will be realised.

According to Julita, the 130km unpaved road connecting most of the villages around the Matunggong sub-district is under the supervision of the Sabah Public Works Department (JKR).

Julita, who is also the Assistant Minister of Community Development and People’s Welfare, said she was in the process of fighting for the road, which is the basic facility, not only to be maintained repeatedly, but also to have it upgraded or paved one day.
