TAWAU: Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah called on the government to think out of the box in encouraging all people to plant crops on idle lands throughout the State in order to overcome food supply shortages during the current pandemic Covid-19.
Liew, who is Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah President, said Sabah has abundant natural resources including land while agriculture was one of its major industries. Thus, there is a dire need to develop all the available lands in each area for producing various crops.
