Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Health said travellers from Sabah who test negative for Covid-19 and show no symptoms will no longer have to undergo mandatory quarantine effective tomorrow.
The ministry on Twitter said those intending to travel from Sabah will have to go for a swab test three days before their departure.
If they test positive during the screening or if they have symptoms, they will not be allowed to leave Sabah for the peninsula, Sarawak and Labuan.
“For those who test positive with Covid-19, they will be referred to hospital for isolation, treatment and monitoring. Meanwhile, individuals showing symptoms will be referred for further examination," the ministry said.
