Kota Kinabalu: Luyang Assemblyman Phoong Jin Zhe (pic) urged the State Government to review Sabah Credit Corporation’s (SCC) mechanism on the issuance of its loan schemes in order to benefit more small to medium enterprises (SMEs).He said only 20 per cent of applications for SCC’s loan schemes have been approved since June 2020.
The statistic was verified in an official written reply from Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor in response to Phoong’s query regarding the budget allocated to SCC to aid local SMEs during the recent State Assembly sitting.
