Malaysian CEOs’ confidence level still low
Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia’s CEOs surveyed for the Vistage-MIER (Malaysian Institute of Economic Research) CEO Confidence Index 2021 expressed that their low confidence is due to the uncertainties from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Vistage-MIER have been surveying CEOs, and executives of small to mid-sized businesses since 2003, and former Group CEO and MD of Nylex Malaysia Richard Wong (pic), presented the survey findings in a G&A Group organised Zoom seminar “2021 Budget & CEO Outlook” moderated by Dato’ George Lim of G&A Group recently.

Wong said: “CEOs are ending the year 2020 on a low note as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to impose unrelenting challenges on both the domestic and global economies, exerting incessant strain on businesses going forward.”
