Kota Kinabalu: Seventeen suicide and attempted suicide cases were reported in the State Capital since 2019 to date.Among factors behind those suicidal actions were personal problems and financial issues, according to City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji.
This year alone saw a total of seven suicides by hanging and three attempted suicides, the latest involving a 14-year-old undocumented girl who jumped off a pipe bridge near KK Sentral on Wednesday.
