BEAUFORT: The newly-appointed District Council members are urged to forge good cooperation so that they can deliver the best service to the communities. Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih hoped they can stimulate development and the economy in their areas.
“For example, Beaufort’s township is strategic as it can be a pit-stop for the Kota Kinabalu, Sarawak and Brunei routes,” he said during the oath taking of Beaufort District Council members.
