Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 290 Covid-19 positive cases and one fatality involving a 53-year-old foreign woman who had diabetes in Tawau, on Sunday.A new cluster named Batu Lima cluster with 27 positive cases was detected in Kota Kinabalu, related to contact screening at an iron factory, according to State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun

In a statement, Masidi, who is also the State’s official Covid-19 spokesperson, said of the new cases, 128 (44.14 per cent) are close contacts, 90 from new and existing cluster screening, 23 from symptomatic screening, 11 from community screening and 38 from other categories.
