SIPITANG: A 22-year-old man from Kampung Likas in Kota Kinabalu was detained after 51.2grammes of suspected syabu, estimated worth RM5,000, were seized from his possession during Ops Covid-19 at Kampung Kalamauh, here, Sunday.District Police Chief, DSP Champin Piuh, confirmed this and said the suspect was nabbed after police personnel who were involved in Ops Covid-19 found the suspected drug in two packets stashed underneath the seat of his motorcycle at about 12.30am.

He said the suspect was seating on his motorcycle parked at a bus stop when the enforcers approached him and when asked he told them he was waiting for a friend to bring fuel for his motorcycle.
