THE Federation of Chinese Associations Tawau (FCAT) and Che Hsing Khor Moral Uplifting Society of Tawau distributed a total of 1,500 sets of food aid to their members and non-members in two days, recently. FCAT Chairman Datuk Dr Lim Teck Kiong said it was the first round of distribution and the registration for the second round of distribution will begin on Nov 29 (Sunday) until Dec 4 (Friday).

He thanked OPS Harapan, a Kuala Lumpur-based company, for kindly sponsoring more than 20 tonnes of food items and free shipping from Pos Malaysia, as well as the contributions from some local business operators towards the Covid-19 charity programme. He said FCAT has 46 Chinese associations and those who have not received the food aid are welcome to register themselves with their respective Chinese associations or the secretary of the Che Hsing Khor Moral Uplifting Society of Tawau (Miss Chung 089-774166/010-218-9172).
