Kota Kinabalu: The National Security Council (MKN) on Wednesday gave approval to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for scuba diving activities during the current Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Sabah.

On Monday, MKN had agreed with the State’s decision to lift the tourism restriction on scuba diving.

Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Jafry Ariffin (pic) on Wednesday said the SOP issue involved all diving companies as well as resorts in Sabah waters except for restricted areas and ship or boat routes.
