Kota Kinabalu: The State Health Department (JKNS) received eight Proton X70 SUV units from Proton Edar Sdn Bhd through Fook Loi Corporation (Sabah) Sdn Bhd in efforts to assist frontliners in the fight against Covid-19.JKNS Deputy Director Dr Asits Sanna said the eight SUVs would be stationed at District Health Offices in Tuaran (three units), Kota Kinabalu (three units) and Penampang (two units). They would be loaned to the department for three months.

He said the vehicles would be used for various tasks such as transporting test samples to the laboratory and to carry out investigations on Covid-19 cases.
