Beware gas cylinder leakages
BEAUFORT: The owner of a terrace house managed to prevent it from being destroyed by fire believed caused by a Liquid Gas Petroleum (LPG) leak in Taman Wawasan on Sunday.District Fire and Rescue Chief Mohammad Hasbollah Nenggok said they received an emergency call at 10.28pm and deployed eight personnel to the location along with Light Fire Rescue Tender (LFRT) amd Emergency Medical Services (EMRS)

“It is advised that people be more careful when receiving LPG and check if there are any leaks in the head.

“Before using it, we can smell the gas if there is a leak and avoid using it and we can test it by placing soap foam on the gas head area.
