Kota Kinabalu: University of College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) is undertaking a study to understand the risk posed to wildlife arising from road access to key habitats areas.

“The road-kills are a sign of imbalance between development and the natural ecology,” Lawrence Alan Bansa, a lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Science and Sustainability of UCSF said, while explaining the background of the study.

“Our work seeks to inform road development projects to avoid the problem,” he said.
