Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) is collaborating with the Sabah Forestry Department (JPS) to implement strategic efforts in forest and wildlife conservation in the State. As such, SESB had contributed RM50,000 to Forestry for Napier Grass planting through the Enrichment Corridor Programme, as Sabah prepares for the construction of the Southern Link road project which connects Sabah’s east and west coast.
Its Chief Executive Officer Datuk Abdul Nasser Abdul Wahid said it is also part of SESB’s cooperation to supply electricity to infrastructure development projects that passes through forest reserves under the management of JPS.
