Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services (Cuepacs) Chairman Adamin Mokh said it received many enquiries as to whether the two-day public holidays for Christmas since last year will be revoked by the new GRS State Government. “There is no reason for civil servants to doubt the sincerity of the new government, especially when decisions made by any government is for the good of the people,” he said, in a statement.
The Warisan Plus State Governmet led by Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal (pic) declared Dec24 also a public holiday in the State so that Christians and others can be with their families for the festive year-end break earlier.
