Telupid’s dialysis, internet woes

TELUPID: The Government is urged to consider giving a priority to Telupid Health Clinic to have dialysis machines, as well as medical staff who can operate the equipment, so to ease the burden faced by kidney patients in and around here. Telupid Assemblyman Jonnybone J Kurum said the clinic is in dire need of this facility considering that the nearest facility is located very far, thus burdening those who have to fork out money for the expensive fare just to go for dialysis treatment.

“During my visit to the clinic, I had the opportunity to meet with several chronic patients (kidney) and give a bit of contribution from our Sentuhan Kasih Adun fund to ease their burden in terms of medical costs.

“I also received complaints from these patients about the difficulty faced in going for dialysis treatment because the nearest facility is very far that they have to rent a vehicle to go there, which is expensive for them.
