Kota Kinabalu: Twenty-two players attended the Sabah Rhinos’ first open training session in preparation for next season’s Super League campaign at the Likas Stadium on Thursday morning.

Team manager cum coach Jelius Ating, who was present at the session conducted by fitness coach Muhammadin Abd Ajid, said the training is more towards the players’ physical conditioning.

“We have decided to begin slowly and we are just trying to get the feel back as a team after such a long time having not trained together in a group.

“There was no physical contact among the players throughout the training session. We have to follow the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) strictly as we are still under the CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order) at the moment.
