Kota Kinabalu: Various activities with attractive prizes had been outlined for the celebration of World Soil Day (WSD) in Sabah this year.
Jointly organised by Sabah Wetlands Conservation Society (SWCS) and Repsol Oil and Gas Malaysia Limited, the event aims to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining healthy ecosystems and encourage the public to commit proactively in improving soil health.

“WSD is held annually as a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and advocating for the sustainable management of soil resources,” said a joint statement by SWCS president Datuk Zainie Abdul Aucasa and Repsol Oil and Gas Malaysia Limited Government and Community Relations for Sabah/Labuan adviser Datuk Eddie Abdullah, Thursday.
