SEMPORNA: A bottle of explosive and 50kg of suspected bombed fish were seized by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) in an operation at Pulau Timbun Mata, here, on Thursday.“Our team patrolling the area initially spotted two men behaving suspiciously on a pump boat at 5.45pm,” said Semporna Maritime Zone Director Commander Norrimi Hassan.
He said the duo managed to flee after jumping into the sea.
Inspections on the boat led to the discovery of the glass bottle containing suspected ammonia used for fish bombing.
