LAHAD DATU: Police arrested a man and seized 152.55gm of syabu at a water village, Kampung Bakau, Thursday.District Police Chief, ACP Rohan Shah Ahmad, in a statement on Friday said the 52-year-old suspect was detained by a team of police from the Narcotics Crime Investigation during Ops Tapis at about 12.45pm.
Rohan said, following tip-off, the team detained the unemployed man and seized a bag containing three packs of translucent plastic containing the syabu worth RM22,882.50.
“The suspect also tested positive for taking drugs and remanded for seven days under Section 117 of Criminal Procedure Code.
