Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Sabah and Labuan chapters, together with Tourism Malaysia, are mapping special hotel deals to promote the local tourism sector amid the Covid-19 pandemic.Dubbed as “Hotel Subsidy Programme,” it will provide an opportunity for Malaysian guests to purchase hotel stay deals with a subsidy of RM50 or RM100, depending on the hotel’s star rating.
“We are now discussing with Shoppee to make the programme a reality, especially during the holiday season,” said MAH Acting Chairman Hafizan Wong (pic).
He said updates of the programne would be released to the public soon.
