Kota Kinabalu: Sabahans returning from Brunei Darussalam will not need to undergo mandatory quarantine upon entering the State, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic).“However, they are required to undergo RT-PCR or RTK-Ag Covid-19 testing. The results of the screening must be determined one to three days before departure to Sabah,” he said in a statement, Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the State Health Department has started mass screening for Covid-19 at the Tawau Temporary Detention Centre (PTS), which may cause the number of positive cases to surge in the near future.
“Results of the mass screening are scheduled to be released today (Wednesday) and will contribute to the statistic of positive cases in the Tawau district,” said Masidi.
