Kuala Lumpur: The Social Security Organisation (Socso) headquarters, all offices and business premises at Menara Socso, Jalan Ampang, here, are closed from last Monday (December 14) until this Friday for decontamination and sanitisation work.

Socso chief executive, Datuk Seri Dr. Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed said the decontamination and sanitation work was implemented after a personnel at the agency's headquarters was infected with COVID-19.

"The health and safety of staff and customers is a priority and Socso will continue to work with the authorities to curb the spread of the pandemic to ensure the safety of our customers," he said in a statement here, today.

He said the case was handled in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
