Syabu: Three held in KK and Tawau
A packet of syabu seized during the raid in Asia City.
Kota Kinabalu: Two individuals including a local woman, believed to be the masterminds of a drug trafficking syndicate, were arrested along with syabu weighing 24.69gm at a rented room in Asia City, here, on Tuesday.

City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji said the arrests resulted from information and intelligence on cross-district drug trafficking activities.

He said a team of officers and personnel from the Kota Kinabalu Narcotics Crime Investigation Division (BSJN) raided the rental room around 5.29pm and nabbed the duo.

“An envelope containing syabu, worth RM2,469, was recovered from the male suspect, a foreigner,” he said, adding both suspects tested negative for drugs in urine tests.
