LABUAN: Police Chief Supt Muhamad Farid Ahmad commended the new operator of the Labuan Liberty Port – Megah Port Management (MPM) Sdn Bhd – for bringing about a “new, improved image of the port in the past six months”.“The port now looks like a mini Port Klang, professionally-run and with enhanced security features,” Farid said when he paid a farewell visit at the port on the invitation of the management.
MPM Chief Operating Officer, Datuk Seri Patrick Tiong, said:
“Farid had always been helpful to us when we consulted him on security matters related to the port, so we decided to invite him for high tea as a gesture of appreciation”.
