TAWAU: The Sabah National Security Council (MKN) deported 155 Indonesian illegal Immigrants by sea, Thursday. All were sent home by boat from Tawau Passenger Ferry Terminal to Nunukan Port, Indonesia.
MKN Sabah Director, Sharifah Sitti Saleha Habib Yusuf (pic), said the repatriation is a special programme implemented by MKN in collaboration with the Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) and other government agencies.
She said the repatriation is also the 29th series by sea this year involving Indonesian illegal immigrants.
