Kota Kinabalu: Six men aged between 29 and 48 have been detained to facilitate investigations on a fight which left two others injured at a seafood restaurant in Beaufort Town, on Friday. The injured were a 53-year-old who sustained slash wounds on his head and a 43-year-old who sustained minor head injuries believed to have been caused by impact from a belt buckle. Both are locals.
Beaufort Police Chief DSP Azmir A. Razak said preliminary findings showed that the incident happened following an argument between the victim and the restaurant owner.
The victim, initially, went to the restaurant to buy two cartons of alcohol beverage before getting into a verbal argument.
